Scott Mills

Scott Mills from Metro Toronto Police Services is a Toronto Crime Stoppers School Officer and the Legal Graffiti Art Co-ordinator. Scott discusses both the positives and negatives of graffiti as well as what communities can do to steer this art form in a positive direction.

Moe Tamber

Police Constable Moe Tamber is a member of the Metro Toronto Police Services School Liaison Unit. He is one of many officers across the GTA who work closely with local schools to help youth make good decisions and understand the consequences of making bad ones. One of the programs that Constable Tamber is involved with is ‘Empowering Student Partnerships’ (ESP). This cross city program gets youth working with their local police divisions to help empower others to make positive decisions when faced with difficult situations.

Matt McDonald

Matt McDonald is the director of the YMCA’s Youth Substance Abuse Program (YSAP). Matt oversees 9 staff delivering services across the Greater Toronto Area. YSAP work with youth from ages 14 to 24 to address their substance abuse questions and concerns. They neither condemn nor condone the use of substances. They empower youth to make the best decisions/ choices for themselves through providing tools and strategies of harm reduction in a confidential counseling environment. They also deliver community based presentations to youth, parents and other professionals.
